Michael Gladysz was recently promoted to Dedicated Business Relationship Manager Team Leader at Huntington National Bank. Way to go Michael!!
Katy and Tim Miller became proud grandparents on February 13, 2020 to grandson Robert Kristopher Lewandowski. Robert weighed in at 7.4 oz with a height of 20 inches. Mom and dad and baby are all doing fine!!

Wanda and Gary Whipkey - Gary's sister Brenda L. Willis passed away February 5, 2020. She attended Barberton High School. She was married to Dennis Willis on July 21, 1979; they were married for 40 years. Brenda spent her life caring for people. Her favorite times were simple activities that included her family; making a meal was always high on the list. Preceded in death by her parents, Gary and Janet Whipkey. Brenda is survived by her husband, Dennis; 2 sons, Christopher Willis (Denise), Dwain Willis (Tina); and daughter, Melissa Willis. Brother, Gary Whipkey, Jr. (Wanda). Many grandchildren, Caitlin, Connor, Christian, Noah, Madasin Lee, Serena, Caitlin & Matt Celek, Brian, Madison Rose, Jimmy, James, Jake; and beloved nieces and nephews, Gary, Charlene, Payton, Gary IV, Jordyn, Dalton and Nina; and numerous relatives and friends. Funeral services have taken place.
The Martin Family - Former Rotarian Stan Martin passed away February 11, 2020. He joined the club in May,1994 and due to health problems left in August, 2019. Stan worked as an architect at MARTINse Architecture and was preceded in death last year by his wife Phyllis. He is survived by a daughter and son. There is a memorial service on Monday, February 17, at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 50 N. Prospect Street, Akron, Ohio 44304. Lunch to follow in fellowship hall.
At our 2020 District Conference there will be a luncheon on Friday, April 24th.
This will take the place of regular Club weekly meeting that week.

Please join Rotarians, Rotaractors, and Interactors from across the district as we gather at the Sheraton Suites in Cuyahoga Falls April 24-25, 2020 for our annual Conference of Clubs and District Leadership Assembly. The theme of this year’s conference focuses upon assisting at risk youth and the keynote speaker will be the nationally award winning Summit County Juvenile Court Judge Linda Tucci Teodosio. Watch for registration details in February 2020.
